As a reminder, this recruitment drive will fill a total of 32,679 constable positions. Key points related to the exam
This year’s written examination was conducted in six shifts on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026, at various centers across the state. DV, PST and PET process
Candidates who qualify the written examination will now have to go through the next stages of the selection process such asDocument Verification and PST process as per the proposed schedule of the board August 17, 2026 The exam is going to start from 2019. The Physical Efficiency Test for the candidates who qualify in DV and PST is likely to be conducted in September 2026.
Physical Standards and Race Rules
- LengthThe minimum height for male candidates belonging to General, OBC, and SC categories is 168 cm (160 cm for ST). The minimum height for female candidates belonging to General, OBC, and SC categories is 152 cm (147 cm for ST).
- Sew only for men,Male candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and SC categories must have a chest measurement of 79 cm without expansion and at least 84 cm with expansion, and 77-82 cm for ST categories. Female candidates must also have a minimum weight of 40 kg.
- Race, During the PET, male candidates will have to complete a 4.8 km run in 25 minutes and female candidates will have to complete a 2.4 km run in 14 minutes.
