According to ministry data, by July 16, 2026 98,632 youth have completed the application process by directly visiting the official portal of Pradhan Mantri Internship Yojana through ‘My Bharat’ portal.
The Department of Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs are working together on this initiative. A dedicated “PMIS Volunteer” option has been launched on the portal, where youth can access complete information about scheme eligibility, corporate opportunities, and the application process.

On-ground awareness camps
Special awareness and internship camps are being organized to help youth, not only through digital channels but also on the ground. These camps help young people meet directly with employers and complete the application process.

- Dantewada (Chhattisgarh): More than 800 youth participated.
- Chennai (Tamil Nadu): More than 600 youth participated.
- Pune (Maharashtra): 90 youth participated.

2. Stipend and Financial Aid
